Coaching is my contribution to the youth of our community.  I really enjoy teaching kids the basic fundamentals of the game.  Most of all I enjoy volunteering to provide them with leadership to become better people, discipline to build character, to encourage education and good sportsmanship.  I’d like to wish you all success in your education, athletics and your future endeavors in life.

“Remember to always listen to your parents, be who your are and not who everyone expects you to be, strive to lead and not be lead astray.”

Thank you all for your support.

New Orleans, Louisiana. - The City known as the "Queen of the South", "Crescent City" and the "Birthplace of Jazz".
Points of Interest: Visit the Vieux Carre, the "Old City" also known as The French Quarters. Enjoy the outdoor entertainment throughout Jackson Square, visit the St. Louis Cathedral, the oldest Catholic Cathedral in the country. Have a fresh Cafe' Au Lait and Beignets at the original French coffee stand Cafe' Du Monde. Shop at the famous open-air French Market, party all night on Bourbon Street and take a stroll on the riverside Moonwalk. Other famous Landmarks in the city of New Orleans include The Greater New Orleans Bridge, Audubon Park and Zoological Gardens, Aquarium of the Americas, Mississippi Riverboats, the Louisiana Superdome and the Great Cable Cars of St. Charles Street just to name a few. If you haven't been there already you have to go at least once in your lifetime.

The City is well known for its fabulous Creole and Cajun Cuisine.

This includes such dishes as file' gumbo, jambalaya, crawfish bisque, stuffed crab, shrimp &/or crawfish etouffee, boudin, great overstuffed po-boy sandwiches, spicy hot and deliciously good boiled shellfish and much, much, much more.

Have a bite to eat at the popular restaurants located in the famous French QuartersGo eat some good ole down home cookin. Visit and tell dem "The B Man sent yall".

The History of the King Cake

The celebration of Mardi Gras and King Cake parties are unique to New Orleans. The Mardi Gras season officially begins on the twelfth Night of Christmas, or January 6th, also known to Christians as the Epiphany. Since the third century the Epiphany has been observed as the day the Three Wise Men finally found the infant Jesus. King Cakes were initiated to celebrate this holy day and a small plastic baby doll is placed in each cake as a symbol of "finding the baby Jesus".

King Cakes are oval shaped and decorated in carnival colors of Purple which signify Justice, Green for faith, and Gold for Power. As the cake is cut, each person looks to see if their piece contains the small plastic baby. Many carnival clubs including the Twelfth Night Revelers choose the queen of their carnival by this tradition. Some believe that the person who gets the plastic doll baby will have a year of good fortune. Traditionally, to continue the festivities through carnival, the person who finds the baby brings the King Cake to the next celebration. King Cake season ends on Fat Tuesday the day before ash Wednesday.
